Service Description

The Babysitter Training & First Aid/CPR/AED program aims to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for children and infants. This course — designed for youth ages 11 to 16 — helps participants develop leadership skills, create a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe, help children behave, learn about essential childcare, and apply first aid, CPR, and AED skills in a simulated setting. The course instructor will provide students with resources for success inside and outside the classroom. Upon completion of the course, participants will earn a 10-year Babysitter's Training certification of completion and a certification in Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. *This class is a blended learning format. The participant must complete the online portion of Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED (accessed via mobile desktop or tablet) before attending the Instructor-led skills session. Care First Education LLC will email a link to the course within 24 hours of receiving payment.
