Supporting resilient communities empowered to live healthy, drug-free lives

About the Organization
The Drug-Free Youth Coalition is a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing substance use among young people through evidence-based social initiatives and multisector collaboration. The coalition fosters a supportive community, bringing together partners across 12 sectors to collaborate and unite around a shared goal.
Formation of drug-free community coalitions is the Nation’s leading effort to mobilize communities to prevent youth substance use. Directed by the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), the DFC Support Program partners with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Community-Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA), to provide support and guidance to DFC coalitions related to coalition-building, programmatic expertise, and evaluation support.
