Free Services Through the Senior Center

Diabetes Prevention Program

A community-based lifestyle program for adults with prediabetes. Its goal is to empower participants to make lasting lifestyle changes that enhance their overall health and significantly lower their risk of developing type 2 diabetes

Diabetes Self Management

An evidence-based service that helps people with diabetes learn skills and build confidence in daily self-care, covering healthy eating, exercise, blood sugar monitoring, medication, and stress management to improve health outcomes, reduce complications, and lower costs.

Cardio Drumming

An exercise where participants hit different parts of an exercise ball (or the area around it) with drumsticks to the rhythm of songs. This fitness activity combines music, movement, and community.

Health Screenings

Community Health Screenings include heart health, cardiovascular risk assessment, mental health screening, review of barriers to healthcare, personalized health guidance, and a health report card.

Women’s Weight Management

Addresses metabolic and hormonal shifts by managing stress and sleep, staying active with walking/cardio, limiting alcohol/processed foods, and staying hydrated.

Freedom From Smoking

Quitting isn't easy—but it's easier with the right help. The Freedom From Smoking program provides options, resources, and support to help you quit for good!

STOP THE BLEED® Course

The course is designed to enhance participants’ ability to take decisive lifesaving action to assist a person with a traumatic injury and life-threatening bleeding until professional responders arrive.
